This is one of the most prized and sought- after Brunellos. The wine is stunningly elegant, soft, and full of fresh fruit whilst retaining a distinct sense of terroir and true Brunello characteristics.

Louis Vallet and family produce excellent wines that are in the Ancienne Traditionale style. In vintages such as this one, the wine has a deep, lingering richness; for those of you who already know the taste of a great Chambertin, this is one of the finest examples available.

Chateau Langoa Barton consistently produces some of the best wines of a vintage. This is a wine of massiveness, firmness and finesse. This is a bottle that can improve for decades, but is still delicious to drink right now.

This is a great Barbera. It is big, round and flavorful, and surprisingly soft on the palate. The 2001 is an extraordinary vintage. It has deep colour, and is absolute perfection in the glass.
